(Received April IG, at 10 a.m.) Mr Neville Chamberlain (Chancellor of the Exchequer) has completed his plans for the Budget on Tuesday. The ‘ Telegraph’s ’ political contributor predicts. no change in the standard rate of income tax, slight changes in allowances, a reduction in the beer tax, and reimposition of the 4d in the pound duty on tea.
