ST. GLAIR LADIES' CLUB The second qualifying round in conjunction with the L.G.U. medal mutch was played on the Corstorphino links by the St. Clair Ladies’ Golf Club yesterday. A strong southerly wind made playing conditions rather difficult. The senior L.G.U. medal was won by Mrs Gilbert, 91-17-74, and the junior event by Mrs A. Smellie, 100-22-78. The tie in last week’s L.G.U. modal was won by Mrs Taylor, 92-17-75. Those who qualified for the club championship were: Miss Kay, Alesdames AFCarthy, Taylor, Wight, Gilbert, Burnett, Breeze, and Miss Kindley. The following qualified for the Junior Cup:—Mesdames A. Smellie, Kindley; Cowan, Clitheroe, Martin, AA’ood, Osborne, Thompson. The trophy for the two best net scores over tho qualify’ ig rounds goes to Airs Taylor (151).
