The Colonial Secretary has appointed Sir .William Gowers, the present Governor of Uganda, Senior Crown Agent for the Colonies, in succession to Sir Henry Lambert, who will ’ retire shortly. , , Colonel Fleming has been appointed Fourth Crown Agent for the Colonies and Engineer-in-Chief, in succession to Colonel Sir James Carmichael, who will retire shortly.
