MEETING OF CENTRE DRAW FOR ADESS SHIELD A meeting of tho executive of tho Dunedin Bowling Centro was hold last evening, when Mr J. Allen (president) occupied the chair. It was decided to bcihl a team to Oamaru on April 9 to play the North Otago Centre and also to Wiakouaiti on March 29 to play Seacliff and Waikouaiti. , ~ An invitation from the Secretary of the Rarotonga Bowling Club to visit Rarotonga was received. A similar invitation from the Suva Bowling Club was received. It was decided not to complete the Saturday matches stopped by rain. The Chairman offered the centre's congratulations to Mr J- Voitch on once again winning tho champion of champions’ match. It was a pleasure, he said, to have a champion who took his victory so modestly and a runner-up in the person of Mr S. Hutchison, who took his defeat like a sportsman.—Mr Veitch briefly acknowledged tho centre’s congratulations. Tho following is the draw. for tomorrow’s play in tho Adcss Shield competition. which will be commenced on tho Kaituna green. Play in the first round will be commenced at 12.45, and in tho second round West Harbour y. Mornington, and Green Island v. St. Cljiir will also commence play at 12.45. EASTER TOURNAMENT The Dunedin Bowling Centre will commence its Easter tournament on Thursday next with the singles. The rinks will be played on Good Friday and tho pairs on Saturday. The tournament will be continued on Easter Monday, when section and green winners will play off. There will also bo a consolation rinks competition for those beaten out of the rinks and pairs. Excellent entries have been received, comprising 61 singles, 156 pairs, and 68 rinks. All games will start each morning at 8.30.
