FIENDISH MURDER
WOMAN SLASHED WITH RAZOR Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, March 16. Mrs Katherine Sims, who is also known, as Mrs Ball, a resident of Erskineville, was murdered under fiendish circumstances. Her attacker inflicted terrible razor gashes on her back and breast as though trying to reach the heart. He then cut her throat from ear to ear. Neighbours were not aware of the crime, but the police are searching for a man who obtained a change of shirt near by owing to the bloodbespattered nature of his own shirt. He said he was the victim of an assault by a gang.
