‘ BILL TO LIMIT LOAN INTEREST REJECTED BY HOUSE. Press Association—-By Telegraph—Copyright. OTTAWA, March 16. (Received March 17, at 1.5 p.m.) The House of Commons, by 88 votes to 64, rejected a Bill forbidding the banks charging more than 7 per cent, on loans. The Bill was sponsored on behalf of the farmers by Mr Henry Spencer, United Farmers’ representative from Alberta.
