SPORTS MEETING.
TO THE EDITOR.
Sir, —In connection with tho Otago championship sports meeting to he held at Carisbrook Ground to-morrow I notice that A. A. Cameron, of Oamaru, is expected to break the New Zealand record in the hop, step, and jump event. I would suggest to those in charge of tho meeting that they put a small flag in the ground at tho record mark so that the public can see if the New Zealand record is broken.—l am, etc., '. Sport.
