A lady who kept poultry had among others some Andalusian fowls. _ One day she had one killed for dinner, which proved to be very tough. ‘‘Rachel,” Sho said to her elderly servant, “ what fowl is this? It seems to he a very old one.” “ Well, mum,” replies she, “ it’s one of them there Antediluvians.”
