Middle Distance Runners include T. Pickering (ex-Wellington champion), L. C. M‘Lachlan (ex-New Zealand champion), E. A. Taylor (Otago halfmile champion), and A. L, Price (Otago 440yds champion). See the Mile Race, one of the events of the day; also G. S. Cabot, N.Z. walks champion, is a competitor. The best athletic faro ever provided in Dunedin.
