LEARH-TO-FLY WEEK There is a lot of fascination about handling the pilot instructor machine, as some hundreds of people found yesterday. A feature of yesterday’s competition was the number of girls who were selected for the finals—Miss E. Orawshaw, 6 Valpy street, St. Clair; Miss V. Spedding, Cargill street, Mosgiel; Miss M. Hervey, Bedford street, St. Clair; Mr J. A. Bremner, 2 Hork>t row; Mr W. M'lnnes, 45 Royal Crescent, St. Hilda; Mr ,J. Lupp, Ross str6fit» They will be finalists for the £4O Otago Aero Club flying scholarship. The finals will lye flown at Arthur Barnett Ltd. on Friday evening, at 8 o’clock, and the scholarship presented the same evening. ... The “ Learn to Fly Week ” activities will conclude with a flying display at North Taieri aerodrome on Saturday afternoon.
