The totalisator handled £15,897 15s, against £25,424 10s for the second day of last year. The total for the two days was £29,920 ss, compared with £50,852 last year—a decrease of £20,981 15s. Paradigm quickly made up his handicap and ran home a comfortable winner by one and a-halt lengths from Valloden, with Royal Triumph two lengths away third, and Kolmar a neck further back fourth.
