EXCHANGE FACILITIES ELIMINATING NEW YORK. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. CALGARY, January 20. In an address delivered here the Federal Minister of Trade and Commerce (Mr H. H. Stevens), reviewing present conditions, held out the hope that within a short period direct monetary exchange facilities would be established between London and Montreal without using New York as an intermediary.
