Sir Malcolm Campbell will leave England for Daytona (Florida) in a fortnight to make a fresh attempt in February on his own world’s land speed rcord of 245,736 miles an hour. Improvements have been introduced in his car, the Blue Bird, with which the record was established, and he expresses confidence that it is capable of considerably higher speed.
