BURNS ANNIVERSARY
The anniversary of the birth of Scotland's poet, Rohert Burns, is to be fittingly celebrated by- the Dunedin Burns Club in His Majesty's Theatre on Monday evening next. No one had equal gifts and genius in reaching human hearts and his love songs have an appeal that touches all. An opportunity will be afforded of hearing on this occasion some of these gems by Dunedin's most popular talent. The following names speak for a successiul entertainment:—Misses Mary Pratt, Evelyn Shepard, and Eva Judd, Messrs Arthur Macdonald, John Kennedy, C. Hawes, A. M'Dowell, J. M'Farlane, A. Sligo, A.
