TEST CRICKET
I ... . ...... SOUTH AFRICA V. NEW ZEALAND [Per United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, January. 22. A definite announcement that the test match South Africa v. New Zealand would be played at Lancaster Park on February 27 and 29 and March 1 was made by Mr Winsor, secretary of the New Zealand Cricket Council, at a meeting of the Lancaster Park Board last evening. “It is now definite that the Africans will be coming/’ said Mr Winsor. “ There is a possibility that the test will be extended to four days, but there is no certainty about it, as it all depends on the circumstances. There will probably bo a match in Wellington afterwards, but the _ Christchurch fixture is the only definite decision yet.”
