The John is due here on Monday, and will sail the same night for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, New Plymouth, and Waikato. . [ To-morrow the Poolta is expected to leave Bluff and arrive here on Sunday to loaa the following day for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Nelson, New Plymouth, and Westport, The Marine Department has received tho following radio message from Captain Burgess, of the Matai: —“ Expect to arrive 11.30 a.m. to-morrow to load stores on Monday for southern lighthouses.” Messrs H. L, Tapley and Co. advise that the Canadian Scottish is to sail finally from Dunedin on February 11 for New York, Boston, and Halifax. The Wingatui left Auckland at, 11 p.m. yesterday for Lyttelton, Wellington, Dunedin, and Timaru. She is due hero next Friday. A departure from Wellington last evening was the Kartigi for Lyttelton, Bluff, Launceston, and Melbourne to load a j tho last-named port and sail on February 3 for Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Wellington.

OPAWA ARRIVES. r e New Zealand Shipping Company’s motor ship Opawa arrived from Liverpool via northern ports this after-noc-.i. and berthed at Victoria wharf to complete discharge of her cargo of general m. handiso from West Coast ports of Great Britain. Tho Opawa experienced a fine wont her run via the Cape of Good Hope, fuelling at Dakar. ANDREA LEAVES BALIK PAP AN. Tim tanker Andrea left Balik Papan on Tuesday for New Zealand ports. She is due at Auckland on February 7, RANGITIKI’S FINAL SAILING. It is announced that the Rangitiki will sail from New Zealand for England at noon on March 24, instead of on March 26, as previously advised. THE SCHOONER HUIA. The Nobel auxiliary schooner Huia was expected at Melbourne from Fremantle on Tuesday. The vessel will load explosives at Melbourne for Dunedin. Groymouth, Westport, and Auck- . land. She is due at Auckland in about three weeks’ time. THE CITY OP LINCOLN. The Federal Company has received cabled advice that the A. and A. Line chartered steamer City of Lincoln left New York on January 10, and Newport News on January 13, for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Australia. She is due at Auckland on February 18.
