UNKNOWN TO ONE ANOTHER

FATHER’AND-SOH DRAMA FOR STRAND A father who loves the son he never saw and a boy who hates the father he never knew are the roles portrayed by Thomas Meighan and Hardie Albright in ‘ Skyline,’ which will be the main attraction at the Strand to-morrow. Meighan is, of course, the father, and in a smashing climax reveals himself to his son. Albright, with Maureen O’Sullivan, furnishes the love interest in this story of modern life in a great city. Myrna Ley is featured with these three in a characteristic part, as is Donald Dillaway. A cast of popular favourites supports this quintet of stars, included in the ensemble being Stanley Fields and Jack Kennedy. ‘ Skyline ’ tells the story of a friendless youth who is bitterly prejudiced against his father, who deserted the boy’s unmarried mother. Later he is befriended by a wealthy contractor and engineer, who, in the end, is revealed as his father. Following this discovery the boy denounces his father for his .early conduct, but when he realises he is not without sin himself, having gone perilously near the danger line, he becomes tolerant and realises that ho is, after all, no better than his father. Herbert Mundin, the well-known English comedian, is featured in'a four-reel British comedy, ‘ We Dine at Seven,’ a play of funny, farcical situations, which will also he shown. The latest Fox Movietone news .will J»o released.
