Kenworthy, from London via Panama and Suva. Gale, s.s. (4.10 p.m.), 567 tons, Davies, from Wanganui via ports. January 20. City of Dunkirk, s.s. (2.15 p.m.), 5,861 tons, H. Johnston, from New York via Gulf of Mexico, Panama, and north New Zealand ports. SAlLED.—January 19. Kaimiro, s.s. (10 pun.), 2,562 tons, Whyborn, from Lytteltop. The Kaimiro sailed last night for Lyttelton and other northern ports to complete discharge of her Australian cargo. The Union Company’s chartered Eastern cargo carrier is to sail from Dunedin to-morrow for Bluff and Sydney. Arriving yesterday afternoon, a day ahead of schedule, the Gale was loading cargo to-day for Wanganui via ports. She is to sail to-night. The Wingatui is to leave Auckland at 10 p.m to-morrow for Lyttelton, Wellington, and Dunedin.

THE FERRY SERVICE. The Wahine, from Wellington, arrived at Lyttelton at 6,50 this morning, and passengers and mails connected with the south express.

FREMANTLE’S FINAL POET. Messrs J. W. Swift and Company advise that the C. and D. mothr vessel Port Fremantle, which was originally scheduled to leave Wanganui on January 28, will now proceed back to Wellington, and will leave that port on January SO for London via Cape Horn and Dakar. CANADIAN VICTOR CANCELLED. Canadian National Steamships advise that the Canadian Victor, which was to have left Buenos Aires on Monday for New Zealand ports, to load for New York, Boston, and Halifax,, has been cancelled. ANDREA FRQM BALIK PAP AN. The Shell Company has received advice that the tanker Andrea is en route from Balik Papan with bulk oil for Auckland and southern ports. She is due at Auckland about February 9. PERSONAL. Mr R. J. Hooper has rejoined the Fairburn as engineer. Captain J. Burton-Davies is in command of the Hertford, which is at present at Wellington, and his officers are :—Chief, Mr F. Loughdeed; second, Mr P, L, Shakespeare; third, Mr J. Tembertake; fourth, Mr P. A. Davies has taken command of the Karetu at Sydney, relieving Captain A. Reed, who is proceeding to Auckland on holidays. Mr J. Dawson has rejoined the Karetu as chief officer, relieving Mr M. R, Tregale for further orders. Mr C. Sharpe has relieved Mr N. J, Siepen as chief officer of the Makura at Sydney for holiday leave. WAIKOUAITI FROM SYDNEY. The Union Company’s Waikouaiti is due at Dunedin to-morrow morning from Sydney via Bluff to unload portion of her cargo loaded in Australia. She is to sail again in the afternoon for Lyttelton. CITY OF DUNKIRK. Arriving in the Lower Harbour this morning from Lyttelton, the EllermanHall Line’s steamer City of Dunkirk stayed there. for. a'h .hour or.twp -tphaye ‘jer draft evened before negotiating th ', channel. She then came up to the Victoria wharf to put out a cargo loaded at New York and ports in the Gulf of Mexico. She sailed from New York on, November 22 and Port Arthur op December 9.
