GENERAL REDUCTION IN STAKES < The Auckland Racing Club has drawn up the programmes for its autumn and winter meetings, and the stakes generally have been reduced from those of last year, with the exception of the classic races at the autumn meeting. The stake money for the autumn meeting will amount to £7,350, compared with £9,150 last year, and £8,275 for the winter meeting, as against £II,OOO last year.
