MEAT BOARD CHAIRMAN
MR DAVID JONES REAPPOINTED ISrecuL to tub ' Stab,'] WELLINGTON, January 19. Mr David Jones, the former Minister f Agriculture, who resigned from the hairmanship of the New Zealand Meat Toducersj Board shortly after joinirig lie Coalition Ministry, has been again ppointod to that position, Mr T. A. Juneau, who had held the chairmanhip for a short period, having relinuished it in his favour.
Mr Jones has for many years been a Government representative and chairman of the Meat Board, and in hat capacity has negotiated on behalf of the meat producers important contracts for freight and insurance. On the occasion of the last revision of the overseas freights contract he visited ■''land, and with the chairmen of the Dairy Board and Fruit Control Board conducted negotiations direct with the shipowners’ representatives.
