Alterations for Advertisements must ba handed in by 10 a.m. on the day before they are required to appear. Advertisers in the country can remit pay* ment by Money Orders or Postal Notes. For the convenience of advertisers replies to advertisements may be sent to the ‘ Evening Star ’ Advertising Office, but the s Proprietors do not accept any responsi* bility in this respect, Whilst every care is exercised in regard to the due insertion of advertisements, the Proprietors do not hold themselves responsible for the non-insertion through accident or from other j causes: and the Proprietors reserve to themselves the right of omitting advertisements that they may deem objectionable, even although such advertisement* may have been received and paid for in the usual course of business.
