Jackie Coogan is featured as Tom Sawyer, Junior Durkin as Huck Finn, and Mitm Green as Becky Thatcher. Clara Blandick again grumbles and groans through the trials of Tom’s Aunt Polly, and the jolly Jane Darwell placidly adapts herself to the strange moods of Huck. Two notable additions to the adult cast, Eugene Pallette and Oscar Apfel, seen as a pair of desperadoes from whom Tom and Huck rescue two defenceless firls, add a new note of comedy.
