UNIVERSITY SENATE
—; —r* ANNUAL MEETING IN DUNEDIN The Senate of the University of New; Zealand will commence its annual meeting at 10.30 to-morrow morning in the Allen Hall, Otago University, The Chancellor (Professor J. Macmillan Brown) will preside, and will deliver his address at the opening of the senate.: The business of the senate will ein gage the attention of the members for four or five days, and will probably be concluded by Monday. The question of the finances of the university at the present time will be the most important matter for discussion.
It is expected that all the members of the senate will be present, with the exception of Sir Apirana Ngata.
