DISARMAMENT CONFERENCE
AUSTRALIA'S REPRESENTATIVE Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. CANBERRA, January 8. The Federal Cabinet announces the appointment of the Attorney-General (Mr J. G. Latham) as the Commonwealth’s representative at the Disarmament Conference at Geneva. Mr Latham will be unable to leave for some time, and in the meantime Sir Granville Ryrie (High Commissioner) will represent Australia. Mr Lyons, Mr Latham, and Sir George Pearce have been appointed a sub-committee of the Federal Cabinet to examine the disarmament proposals.
