PHILADELPHIA, January 7. Tilden defeated Roman Nejuch, a former German champion, 6-2, 6-4, 6-2, in the eastern professional lawn tennis tournament. Hans Nuslein, the German champion, defeated Allen Behr (New York), 6-2, 6-3, 6-0. Tilden and Sellar defeated Emmett Pares (Chicago) and Albert Burke (Ireland), 6-3, 6-4, 6-4. Burke beat Sellar, 6-0, 6-1, 6-1.
