The second naval_ member, Captain Sinclair Thomson, is due to reach New Zealand by the Rangitiki on February 18. Mr J. W. Smith passed through from' Invercargill on his way to Auckland today. The death occurred this morning oh Mr Ernest Price, a director of the firm of Messrs Donald Reid and Co. Ltd., with whose activities he had been engaged for some years. The late Mr Price, who spent about twelve years in Australia before joining the firm, was well known in commercial circles .and among the farming community.
