Secret experiments conducted by British police forces have led to the evolution of a wireless set small enough to be fitted in the pocket, light in weight, yet fool-proof and thoroughly efficient. Those engaged on the experiments hope to convince the authorities that the provision of miniature sets for police officers stationed at outlying posts around London would be a valuable aid in the war against crime.
