(Received January 6, at 12.5 p.m.) Coincident with the crop of professional and other condemnations of mutilation of the English speech in American films, the ‘ Daily Herald ’ announces that at least 200 talkies, costing £2,500,000, are being made in British studios in 1932. Every company is extending its space, and two new huge studios are being planned.
