ARGENTINE REVOLT COLLAPSES MARTIAL LAW IN HONDURAS. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. NEW YORK, January 5. The Argentine revolt collapsed owing to lack of popular support. Honduras, however, declared martial law throughout the country in an effort to suppress a wide revolutionary movement caused by the discharge of 800 workers by a prominent fruit company. Federal troops thwarted an attack of a large band of insurgents at San Pedro. Tela is also endangered. Other battles occurred at Santa Cruz and at Choloma.
