CLAIMS TO OWN ARMAGEDDON

Sho is Mrs Templeton, and litigation over the title has been going on for four years. The land on which the railway station is built passed to h • on the death of her first husband, Mr Laurence Oliphant, the author and traveller, in 1888. Under threats that the land might be taken from her by the Turkish Government she signed a paper, under protest, selling it to the railway company for £6OO.
