Towards the end of January Miss Lester will leave the dominion for Australia, and after a short visit there will proceed to her sister at Palestine, where a short stay will be made. Miss Lester intends later settling in England with a sister.

A former well-known resident of Dunedin, in the person of Mary Josephine Twopenny, widow of Mr R. E. N. Twopenny, at one time editor of the ‘ Otago Daily Times,’ died on November 19 at York House, England, says an English exchange.
