ARRlVED.—December 30. Rangitane, m.s. (10.30 a.m.), 16,712 tons, A. W. M'Kellar, from London and Southampton via Panama and northern ports. RANGITANE HERE. The Rangitane berthed this forenoon at Port Chalmers to continue discharge of general cargo from London, Bluff is her next port. Captain A. W. M'Kellar is in command of the Rangitane. He has the following officers:—Chief officer. Mr E. A, J. Williams; second, Mr R. 0. Aldridge; third, Mr A. Brown; fourth, Mr C. J. P. Gullie; chief, engineer, Mr A. F. Roberts; second, Mr L. J. Holman: third, Mr D. J. Rees; fourth, Mr T. P. Lowe; chief refrigerating engineer, Mr A, Macrae; surgeon, Dr T. H. Dickson; wireless operator, Mr W. E. Hill; steward in charge, Mr W. 0. James. REPAIRING THE STORM. The repairing of the coastal steamer Storm-at Lyttelton will be carried out without loss of time by the Stevenson and Cook Engineering Company, which were the successful tenderers. Already plant and material have been despatched from Port Chalmers. The plates and bottom framing will bo cut out and removed before the fitting of the new material can take place. The job, which entails a lot of intricate work, has to. bo finished by the end of next month. TELEGRAMS AND CABLES. WELLINGTON, December 30. Sailed: Kaimai (noon), for Lyttelton.
