The Kaimai was to leave Wellington at noon to-day for Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due here on New Year’s Day to unload coal, after which she will load out on Tuesday for Oamaru, Timarn, Lyttelton, Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth. The Waipiata is due hero to-morrow to unload cargo from >, Auckland via ports. She sails on Saturday for Bluff, returning in time to load out on Tuesday for Auckland via way ports. The Japanese motor ship Sydney Maru arrived at Wellington from Melbourne yesterday to discharge Oriental merchandise. The Calm is due on Friday from Lyttelton to load out for Timarn, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui.
