ROYALTY CAKE 4 ozs. Cocoa. 3 Eggs. 4 ozs. Sugar. 4- lb. Butter. Few drops Vanilla Essence. Add the cocoa to the milk and place in saucepan over the fire to warm. Beat the butter and sugar to a cream, add the cocoa and milk; then the eggs one by one, mixing each carefully. Mix the flour, rice and baking powder together and add them to the butter, etc. Pour this mixture into a cake tin and bake in a very moderate oven for 1 \ to li hours.
