(Received December 28, at 1 a.m.) Mr Murray Fuller, whoso earlier collection was lost in the wreck of the Manuka, has shipped a varied collection of British contemporary art. valued at £30,000, to New Zealand in the Rcmuera.
The collection includes throe Orpens (covering different phases of the artist’s career). They were sent at the express wish of Sir William Orpen on the eve of his death. The collection includes works by Lambert, Charles Bryant, Sickert, D. Y. Cameron, Wilson Steer, Connard, Augustus .John, Arnesby Brown, Brangwyn, Clausen, M'Bey, Russell Flint,_ and others. The _ collection is charmingly representative of British academic art. Thorp is a probability of the exhibition being transferred to Australia after the New, Zealand tour,.
