Russian propaganda is not always as efficient as it is supposed to be. Gene Tunney and his wife visited Moscow, Tunney is a devout Roman Catholic, and at one time nearly became a priest. The Russians were anxious to impress Tunney, and, being under the impression that all prize fighters must necessarily be brutal anti-clericals, it began by showing Tunney a factory in which church bells were being melted.
