The details are not disclosed, but it is known that the Cabinet is aiming to obliterate as far as possible money payments from Germany’s foreign trade and substituting a system of barter. The Government bought 150,000 tons of rye from the Soviet, which, with similar transactions involving purchases of various grains, potrolc ’in, flax, and furs, will ho offset against the equivalent money value of the machinery, plant, and other German manufactures.
