DISTANCE MAKES SPEECH GROW SLOWER
A certain farmer in the Never-Never is thinking of selling his new radio receiver because he’s so far from the city stations. “ Not,” he said, " that the reception is weak; it isn’t. But by the time the speech gets up hero it’s that slow and drawlv that it nearly makes you sick!”
