CANTERBURY GETS RAIN [Per United Press Association.! CHRISTCHURCH, December 24. Heavy rain fell over Canterbury last night, doing an immense amount of good to crops of all kinds. It continued for three hours. “ This is tbo best Christmas present that Canterbury lias received,” said the Prime Minister when told. Reports from all over the province confirm this.
