Golfers may obtain the same driving practice indoors that they have in a full-size course with a device invented by a patent draftsman of' "Washington. The goiter drives at the ball on the floor and a small ball on a table travels down a lairway scaled to indicate the distance that the large ball would travel on a regular course. The distance of the fairway on the table represents a distance of about 300 y_ards.
