[Per Untied Press Association.] AUCKLAND, December 20. The brilliant English rider, T. Farndon, established a now track record for match events at the Western Springs Speedway last evening, when ho won the opening race in Imin 18 3-sscc. In a later event he and A. Mattson, the local champion, collided, and Farndon was injured, while his machine was damaged. His second machine was damaged a little later, so that he did not appear in the later stages.
