At a far-away farm in the Nyzstroom' district in Northern Transvaal, South Africa, all the natives arc laughing, for they cannot understand the white man and his funny ways. On Sundays they tiring their friends to see the strange washing mystery. The boss has spanned a clotlies lino some 40ft up in the air from the ground, and they wonder how the mistress will hang her washing on it. They have never before seen a wireles- aerial. A plan is under consideration to equip every city and town hall in Franco with a wireless sot to nssist_ in broadcasting i information concerning now laws, lectures on agriculture, and market information. About 40,000 installations would bo necessary to complete the system.
