Export lamb competition (OTAGO DISTRICT). To improve further the quality of our Export Lamb, and to educate our farmers as to the requirements of the Home Market, the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board offer a Perpetual Challenge Cup for the Best District Display from the South Island, and also three prizes'of £ls, £lO, and £5 for the best individual lots of lambs shipped from the South Island. CONDITIONS: Each Pen to consist of three lambs and farmers restricted to two entries. The individual weight of each lamb not to exceed 381 b (freezing weight).
