OTAGO SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS
GOOD ENTRIES RECEIVED Tho entries for the Otago swimming and diving championships, which are to be held at the Municipal Baths next Tuesday evening, are the largest for some years, and in every division keen competition should bo witnessed, as the standard is higher at the present time than for some time past. Three carnivals have already been held, and the swimmers should bo at tire top <pf their form for this meeting. Great interest will centre on the meeting in the intermediate division of Reg. Geddes and W. J. Jarvis, and added interest to this class will be lent by the presence of D. Newall. The junior girls’ events have drawn particularly good entries, and the diving, too, has attracted the best entries lor a long time past.
