Fresh from their tour of England and the Continent, the dashing riders ‘ Kazbeg’s Troupe of Russian Cossacks 1 appea in unusual feats of horsemanship From the Caucasian Mountains this ‘ Troupe of Cossacks ’ come, and are seen in many daredevil tricks. They are the identical Cossacks who defeated riders of all nations at the New York Rodeo in 1919. “ The Cossacks ” appear in cavalry rushes, military charges, pyramids at dizzy heights, and end their performance with a thrilling climax when “ Fedia,” the young Cossack, mounted on his horse, gallons around the ring. When his horse is going at top speed “ Fedia ” climbs from his saddle around the horse, over and under it, and- between the beast’s forelegs. In addition the famous equilibrists and balancers, “ The Four Uessems,”. appear. . “ The Uessems ” are described as “ The boys who defy gravitation,” and they assert that even “ the b,d imes cannot upset them.” A new • attraction is the aerial act, ‘ Les Quatre Hirondellees,’ introduced by the “ Four Misses Wirth.” In the act, grace, charm ; and beauty are blended with thrills ■ and sensation. Other- fe .tures of the circus will include “ The Four Sylvesters,” clever juvenile acrobats. “ The Santey Duo ” (presented by Mr George Wirth, jun., as “ The Human Propeller ”), Miss Gladys and her black stallion (“ Bobs 2nd ”), Miss Madeline (dancer and rider), Miss Doris and her horso “ Queenio ” in specially-selected poses, Miss Eileen and her sagacious elephants, “ The Celebrated Clarkes ” (horse riders of renown), “ Mile Spangiletti ” (comedy trick rider), “ The Performing Brown and Polar Bears ” (imported at a cost of £5,000). The box plan may be viewed at the circus office on the day of the show.

Wirth’s Circus will appear at Dunedin on Monday, November 30, at the Caledonian Ground for six nights only. In tho afternoon, from 4 till 5, Wirth’s Zoo of fifteen cages of wild animals will be open for inspection, when all the animals will be fed. There wiM bo matinees on Wednesday and Saturday.
