Kidson) supplied the following at noon to-day:—The indications are for southerly winds, moderate to strong to gale at times; the weather will probably prove squally and changeable, at times heavy showers, with hail and sleet, cold temperatures, the night will probably be very cold, with frosts inland; barometer rising; tides good, seas heavy. SAlLED.—November 24. Waipiata, s.s. (4.40 p.m.), 2,826 tons, Elders, for Auckland via ports. Waipabi, s.s. (5 p.m.), 1,783 tons, Dalgleish, for Napier and Gisborne via ports. Storm, s.s. (G p.m.), 749 tons, Sheppard, for Wanganui via ports. The Wingatui, which left Wellington at 2.3 U p.m yesterday, is due here on Friday, and then proceeds to Bluff. She loads hero on December 1 for Wellington and Auckland via ports. At, 5 o’clock to-night the Waimavino is timed to sail from Auckland for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. Doth tho Gale and the Newton Elm are duo on Friday, while the Breeze is expected the following day. Tho next overseas steamer expected here is the lonic, from London and Southampton. The vessel is due at Port Chalmers to-morrow from Auckland. THE FERRY SERVIICE. Tho Wahine, from Wellington, arrived at Lyttelton at 6.45 a.m. to-day, and passengers and mails connected with tho express for tho south. THE MELBOURNE MARU.

Instead of arriving at Wellington on December 5, ns previously arranged, the Japanese motor ship Melbourne Maru, en route from Japan via Australia, will be at the northern port on December 2. !

THE CUMBERLAND.

The Cumberland, on route from Liverpool with cargo for New Zealand, has reported by wireless that she expects to arrive at Auckland on Friday morning.

SIERRA’S PASSENGERS. The Matson liner Sierra arrived at Auckland from Sydney on Saturday with the following pasengers:— First saloon; Mr F. Boustridge, Miss M. E. Berry. Lieutenant-colonel and Mrs N. A. H. Campbell, Mr V. J. Cornaga, Mr H. G. Dixon, Mrs H. C. Jones, Miss K. C. M'Cartney, Mr E. C. Paxton, Mrs M. C. Raulston, Mr E. P. Simcox, Mr M. L. Stiver, Mr and Mrs D. S. Waters. Second saloon; Mr W. N. Galbraith, Mr R. MacCarthy, Miss A, Wilkinson. C. AND D. LINE SAILINGS. The local agents of the Commonwealth and Dominion Line have received advice that the following vessels are scheduled to leave New Zealand for England during the first six months of next year:—Port Dunedin, on December JO; Port Fremantle, on January 2(5; Port Melbourne, on January 30; Port Caroline, on February 14; Port Sydney, on February 28; Port Napier, March 6; Port Alma, March 31; Port Hunter, April 3; Port Auckland, April 12; Port Campbell, April 20; Port Hardy, April 29; Port Victor, May 6; Port Huon, May 2G; Port Fairy, early in June. With the exception of the Port Hunter, all the vessels mentioned will proceed via Cape Horn. The Port Hunter will bo despatched via the Panama route. INTERCOLONIAL STEAMERS.

The Union Company’s steamer Waikouaiti sailed from Bluff last Friday afternoon for Sydney and Newcastle. She is due back at Dunedin via Bluff about December 4. The Union Company’s steamer Waiuui, which arrived at Bluff on Sunday afternoon from Wellington, loaded Southland products and sailed on Monday for Melbourne. She will leave the Victorian part again on December 2 for Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Wellington. Tho Wainni is duo at this port on December 8,

MATAROA LEAVES BALBOA,

The Mataroa, en route from Southampton, left Balboa on Saturday afternoon for Wellington, where sho is due on December 10. PERSONAL. Mr A. H. Fisk has relieved Mr C. Maclood as first mate on the Matangi. Captain Anton B. Jorgensen is in command of the Svenor, which is at present at Wellington. NARBADA FROM EASTERN PORTS The Union Company’s chartered steamer Narbada is to leave Calcutta early next month for Penang, Singapore, and Samarang to complete loading for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin, and Bluff.
