THE SOUTHERN SUN DEPARTURE FROM DARWIN Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright. DARWIN, November 23. The air mail plane Southern Sun left at 6.40 this morning, and it was expected to reach Koepang in time for lunch and Binia in time for dinner. The plane ran almost the full length of the ground, just rising in time to clear the trees. The spectators feared a crash, but the telephone wires had been lowered ; and the pilot managed to rise in a circle and gain height, and the plane • disappeared over Capo Charles. , „ . .. Colonel Brinsmcad, Controller of Civil Aviation, is passenger. Ho regards the aerodrome ns being good, but rather small. Work is being started to-day to enlarge the landing space. HEADING FOR HIM A. KOEPANG. November 23. The Southern Sun arrived at 10.30 and left for Bima an hour later.;
