FEDERAL TREASURER’S WARNING Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, November 5. The Federal Treasurer (Mr E. G. Theodore), in a statement to-day, declared that tho Commonwealth Government was convinced that tho activities of tho New Guard could develop into a serious menace. Ho said the Government would not tolerate any attempt to usurp military authority by any unofficial armed force on any pretext.
