ERNEST DRAKE’S RECITAL
Recitals by pupils from the studio of Ernest Drake are much appreciated by the public, who, basing their anticipation on past experiences of these concerts, look forward to a musical evening of outstanding excellence. Because of past recitals, they feel assured of programme of well chosen music, sung with an artistry unusual in students. This year’s recital will undoubtedly maintain the excellent standard set up at past performances. One of tin; features of the concert will bo tho singing of a number of operatic arias by sopranos whose brilliant vocal technique is well-known. It is not often that the musical public is afforded tho opportunity of hearing such a number of talented singers, and for i this reason lovers of good singing i should not miss this opportunity of I hearing an interpretation of these ’ soni'-s which hear tho stamp of authorj ity.° The bos plans .are advertised,,
