NINTH DAY OF HEARING HEAVY LEGAL COSTS. Press Association —By Telegraph-Copyright. BRISBANE, August 4. The Mungana action, in which tho Crown is claiming £30,000 damages against four defendants—Edward Granville Theodore (Commonwealth Treasurer and former Premier of Queensland), William M Cormack (a former Premier of Queensland), leter Louis Goddard (formerly general manager of tho Chillagoo State Smelters), and Frederick Reid—has now passed its ninth day. The Crown case is expected to close this week, and the defence will occupy tho whole of next week. Ihe legal costs are estimated at £450 per day.
